Cleggan Fringe Festival
The Cleggan Fringe Festival runs from 11–13 September 2026, bringing live music, food and traditional culture to the harbour village. Cleggan is also the departure point for the Inishbofin ferry, so it is easy to combine the festival atmosphere with a day on the island.
Please note that this is the Cleggan Fringe Festival in September—the published 2026 dates are not 11–12 October.
Clifden Arts Festival
Clifden Community Arts Festival follows from 17–27 September 2026. Now in its 49th year, the programme spreads through the town with music, theatre, literature, visual art, walks and family events.
Clifden is close enough for an easy evening out from Beachcomber. Book headline events ahead, but also leave time to wander: shop windows, galleries and unexpected town-centre spaces become part of the festival’s Arts Trail.
